My favorite. Looks to me like Norman Rockwell painted it.

The World Series (10th) sheet was printed in late October 1933. These cards were issued in November 1933. The bios on the backs of them reflect the 1933
World Series between the NY Giants and Washington.
Here is my simulated 10th sheet. I put it together with cards from my set, and I have arranged these cards exactly as they were printed on a 24-card sheet.

Check-out the card numbers on this diagram of the 10th sheet...... very interesting, aren't they ?

A few Goudey misfits and ne'er-do-wells.

My favorite. Looks to me like Norman Rockwell painted it.
I envision that the Dibrell Williams card was based on a Dorothea Lange photograph of a dust bowl resident. When you think about, Dibrell certainly could be an Oakie.
Brian (I just looked up the back of his card. He is actually from Arkansas, but went to college at Oklahoma A & M...small world).

These are my two “best”. I never thought I would own the LaJoie, so I took the plunge one day. I just love the Gehrig card, too, even though I don’t collect the 1934s.

That is a great looking Lajoie. There are some awesome Ruth 144s in this thread which I hope to replace one day... Anyone with a 5-7 (or the eye appeal of) Ruth #144, centered, who would like to part with it please let me know. :) Until then it's only this later miscut Goudey..

I wanted one of these for a long time so I was thrilled to pick this one up years ago.
