I hope it's okay for me to copy this over from the watercooler section:
My nephew, Tom, has been selected as a Home-Town Hero to throw out the first pitch for the Gwinnett Stripers' (Braves AAA affiliate) game Monday, July 16!
Tom returned from Afghanistan in April and we could not be prouder!

Wow! That's neat! Your nephew is a good guy. I see that Gwinnett faces the Indianapolis Indians (Pirates AAA team) that evening. Should be a fun time.

That is awesome. Thanks to him for his service. I live about 15 min. from the Stripers’ stadium and go to several games. I am thankful for the Hometown Hero recognitions.
