I recently picked up about a dozen original Red Sox Type 1s from roughly 1943-1961. I've been able to identify the players in almost all of them, but two photos don't have specific dates and I was just curious if anyone could help identify them?

The first photo obviously has manager Pinky Higgins on the right, but is the guy on the left notable? Doesn't match any of Boston's GMs etc from that era...

The second photo has a great scene of fans ducking for cover but I was curious who the fielder with the sunglasses was?

Thanks for any and all help to a newer vintage collector!

...shot in the dark- Dick Stuart (unless this is clearly a 50's photo- played for Sox in 63 and 64)

Wow... even with my bad photo upload I think you are absolutely right. Cross referencing other Stuart photos shows similar jawlines and facial profiles. It came in a mixed lot of photos from the 1940s-early 1960s so the 1963-1964 date would still apply. Thank you!

George Costanza appears to be making a heck of a catch there!
