Does anyone else have an E122 Jennings? It wasn't on my want list but I went to see if it would be an upgrade and low and behold I didn't have one! Nor was there a spot in my binder for one. I also do not see him on any of the checklists online. Hmmmmm.

Never heard of him being in that set - if you have one I would love to see a scan!

Very cool find. The 2006 SCD I have lists 81 cards with no Jennings.

It is checklisted in Lipset's Encyclopedia. I should've thrown in that last bid!:)

Hi, Ed, It is not checklisted in the Lipset edition I have. I think Dan has a new discovery here.

I don't know anything about the set, but isn't it the tenth card from the bottom in your catalog picture?

I don't know anything about the set, but isn't it the tenth card from the bottom in your catalog picture?

The catalog page is Lew Lipset's Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards, and Lew grouped related issues that share similar composition and photos (E121 Series of 80, E121 Series of 120, E122, W501 and W573) together in a combined checklist, which I have found very useful over the years. The column with the 'x's is the column for the E122 set, and no x indicates that this pose was not known at the time for E122.

Thanks to Dan it is now a known card. If I had been more on my game it probably would have cost him more, because I saw the listing.

Congrats Dan!

Brian
