The OP has 281 different HOF autographs before last year, of course he knew that :p

It looks similar to an exemplar in ron's book... also noticed that it was acxompanied by a psa-dna cert before it was sold/lifted

Note,

I do not have a horse in the race on this one, but was curious as to what it is that makes everyone uncomfortable with it... the cert is valid (see attached) and it looks similar to a 1930's exemplar that is in ron keurajians book

I don’t have too much of an issue with this auto either, I think it’s ok, if not an undesirable cut.

To my eyes it looks like someone tried to copy this exact autograph. Maybe they traced it or something. Two things that look off to me are the tail of the last "g" in Gehrig and that the paper is cut at a slightly different angle on the left edge.

:) I can at least vouch for my 255

Cuts are the cheapest, as they are very very often forgeries. If you're not truly happy with it, or really really want to be sure it's real, I'd suggest holding off for something better.

When I first started collecting cut was OK for me, but now I'm growing older and more fussy......
