Hi all:

Just a reminder that Love of the Game's Spring auction closes tonight.

We've got pretty great selection of memorabilia, autographs and Type 1 photos in this auction, including what is probably my favorite lot in the auction - a 1913 Homestead Grays (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/Incredible_1913_Homestead_Grays_Large_Format_Team_-LOT15547.aspx) cabinet photo featuring Cum Posey.

There's also a fantastic 1912 Boston Garter Advertising Display (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/Spectacular_1912_Boston_Garter_Advertising_Display-LOT15126.aspx) featuring Hugh Jennings, a 1916 Stag Sweaters Boston Red Sox (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/Gorgeous_1916_Boston_Red_Sox__Stag_Sweaters__Adver-LOT15515.aspx) advertising cabinet photo, and a 1917 Tim Murnane Day (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/Spectacular_1917_Timothy_Murnane_Day__All_Star__Te-LOT15513.aspx) All-Star photo featuring Joe Jackson, Ty Cobb and Walter Johnson, among others.

We've also got one of three known examples of a photo of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Jimmie Foxx (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/Rare_1934_Tour_of_Japan_Photo_Signed_By_Babe_Ruth_-LOT14810.aspx) from the 1934 Tour of Japan, signed by all three subjects. There's also a team-signed baseball (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/1934_Tour_Of_Japan_Team_Signed_Baseball_From_Hawai-LOT14947.aspx) from the 1934 Tour, signed by the Tour team and a Hawaiian All-Star team they played in Honolulu on the way to Japan.

The auction also features a 1976-79 Thurman Munson game-used bat (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/1976_79_Thurman_Munson_Game_Used_Adirondack_Bat__P-LOT15718.aspx), a fantastic New York Yankees "No. 6" (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/Incredible_Mickey_Mantle__No__6__Autographed_Upper-LOT14982.aspx) jersey signed by Mickey Mantle for Upper Deck (part of a very limited series), and a really cool oversized original Ty Cobb photo (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/Incredible_Ty_Cobb_Signed_Original_Photograph__PSA-LOT15514.aspx), signed and inscribed to his friend Helene Champlain.

I think this is probably our coolest memorabilia offering, with lots of baseball and football tickets (especially a lot of football tickets relating to World War II), autographs, advertising displays, and more.

Extended bidding begins at 9pm, with the "Double Overtime" closing method.

Good luck to all participating! You can access the entire auction here (http://loveofthegameauctions.com/catalog.aspx).
