I have left feedback for every Ebay transaction I've had on Ebay. 9788 transactions. I've received feedback for 80% of those.

I am .6% (and declining) of respondents so far. If I get 100% screwed/stolen from I will leave a negative. If I am not out any money I won't leave a negative. I have left around 3 in my time there. Sorry, after 19 yrs I don't care anymore and don't sell there either. LOL (occasionally someone will ask me to leave it and I will)

ps...I just checked and guess I was mistaking. I buy a lot and it looks like I have left some. Actually I have left over 3500 in total but I am sure most were early on. In checking it looks like every once in a while I am bored and will leave it. It is happening less often I am sure. Since I know I am not getting a negative as I only buy, that might be part of the reason for my nonchalance.

I haven't really done much since they made the system one way. If a seller asks (Unless they're demanding about it) Or if I think they did a much better than average job on something, or if they're new....Then sometimes. And once I'm doing theirs, I might do a few more that are on the same page.

I haven't bought anywhere near as much stuff on Ebay lately either.

Every couple of months or so I go through and try to leave feedback on all the transactions I've had. Can't say I've never missed, but I do try to.

Another category should be added: Leave feedback only when the transaction is as described.

So few transactions ( I mainly buy lots) are as described, I rarely leave feedback for them. I bid with the expectation that if it is an EX lot, the cards will mostly be VG-EX, etc. However, in the rare case I actually receive what is described and is greater than my expectations, I leave positive feedback.

With singles I buy, which are not many, in most cases cards are as described/expected, so feed back is much more typically left for the seller.

1405 feedback left, 1303 received. That's a pretty good ratio. I try to leave feedback on every single transaction, but I've probably missed a couple. Looking back at my first page of feedbacks, I bought a lot of beanie babies on eBay in 1998 and made $2,000 profit before the market tanked. ;-)

I do when the seller has really low feedback, otherwise I rarely do anymore. Been on eBay so long that feedback was not even associated with a transaction and people would leave it for friends to make their # bigger. Anyone else remember those days.:)

I also don't care if anyone leaves it for me.

Yes, I leave feedback on every transaction, although I don’t buy too much through eBay. Luckily, I have never had cause to leave a negative, but I would if it was warranted (e.g., totally misrepresented an item or never sent, etc).

As a buyer, it's pretty simple. Assuming the item I purchased was received as described, I will always leave positive feedback for the seller after he/she has left feedback for me. If I haven't, then it's an oversight. The sellers who haven't left feedback for me, even though I paid for my item immediately and enough time has passed?? I don't bother.

I am just a buyer on eBay. Always leave feedback after getting item as described. Do no care or look to see if seller left feedback for me. When feedback was reciprocal it did anoy me to get notes from sellers saying they would leave positive if and when I did.

I always leave feedback and receive it back about 66% of the time after a quick check.

Buyer feedback confirms delivery.

Seller feedback thanks buyer.

Every transaction should include feedback.

Pretty much how it goes for me as well. I get behind and then a seller will send a note asking for feedback and I use that as an excuse to go and get caught up.

I wish there was a way of leaving feedback for multiple purchases from the same dealer in one step. If there is then I've missed that setting and I'm all ears.

I always leave feedback, but I only get return feedback a small portion of the time. Most ebayers can't be bothered.

Do it every time unless some issue.

Actually kind of pisses me off that I've probably sold 20 cards in the last 2 year and have like 3 seller feedbacks. Nice to have an established track record.

I have posted feedback on every transaction I have ever done, but I find that I get feedback maybe two-thirds of the time. My feedback number is just under 300, but I've done many more deals than that. I don't understand not leaving feedback at all.

I almost always do and I leave honest feedback. If the shipping was slow or packaging was horrible, I mention it in positive feedback and deduct from stars. I leave negative when I have to.

This is why I try to do it for someone who's new. If they seem open to things I'll even follow up privately with suggestions about improving packing etc. It usually goes over pretty well.

And, this just made me think..... What's your overall feedback? If someone has a decent number it hasn't connected to me that they might be a very occasional seller. So someone with say 1-3000 won't get that seller feedback. I may start checking.

Someone with a few thousand, really doesn't need yet another pat on the back for getting it right, that should be almost automatic by then.

I'm also really tolerant of the wide variety of packing, and the occasional delay, so if the packing isn't great or they take an extra couple days to get it shipped they don't get a negative. I can only think of a handful where I complained about someones packing or delays and fewer where it was worth giving a negative.

I got a $30 card in the mail a few days that was in so much tape and cardboard I thought he had accidentally sent me a Ruth rookie card. Needed the jaws of life to extricate it. Nearly qualified as a workout. Was comical if nothing else.

I Always leave feedback. No major reason, other than it seems the correct way to do it.

Never really thought about numbers, until reading this thread:

Given -- 6475 :)
Received -- 4226 :(

Right about 2/3rds ratio, which seems to be the standard ..........

I try to. It may not happen for a month, but I typically get around to it.

When I sell something...the buyer has to leave it first.

I feel much better now. I always feel like a schmuck for taking forever to leave feedback. Good to know that I'm not alone!
