Just picked up a copy of Quincey Trouppe's book Twenty Years Too Soon.
The book appears to be the personal copy of former negro leaguer and Chicago Cub George Altman. The first blank page is signed by Willard Brown Buck ONiel Lee May and a couple of other players. The Brown auto was clearly there first. The pict of Trouppe is also signed to Altman by Troup. This item is a bit outside my normal scope so I have a couple of questions
1. Is the Brown real
2. Value of item
3. Thoughts on best manner to sell

Thanks
Jason

Don’t know about value, but signature is good.

Signature is good, probably worth about 300-400. I have sold individual index cards in the 500 range and while this is a nice example, the other signatures being so tight around it will lower the value a touch.

Exactly what I was thinking
