I set out to build a custom card storage case that would not only be functional, but well made and simply beautiful.

I feel that my dad and I have created just that. He is an amazing craftsman and I wanted to learn and absorb. Mainly we just had a blast hanging out.

We turned a sketch I drew up into this wonderful piece of furniture and I am so excited to share it with the card collecting community.

It will hold 2,400 standard PSA slabs as well as another 1,200 tall boy slabs.

I would love to hear any feedback or comments. Thanks for watching.

Very nice. I can see why you're excited about it.

I probably would have cracked them all out and put them in one binder and called it a day :D

Merry Christmas, my fellow collecting warrior! Magnificent, elegant, and very well thought out. The pervasive use of dovetail joints is so impressive, and the quiet sheen of the walnut finish is the mark of high quality. That was a beautiful tribute to your father. Truly, an amazing father and son project and you'll always remember that.

Thanks for sharing your joy.:) --- Brian Powell

That's really nice!

Maybe seeing it will get me out of my laziness and to work on something similar. I don't have many slabs, and pretty wide interests, so I'm thinking a bit more modular.

That could be cool.
