I came across this 1982 Fleer of Pete Falcone today. I found it fairly interesting. (I guess I never really looked at it all that closely before.) Pete is showing the camera his 1981 Fleer card. Next to him on a stool is a stack of 1981 Fleer cards and two opened wrappers.

Does anyone know of any other cards where the player is shown holding his own (or any other) baseball card?

After thinking about it for a little bit, I remembered these two 1994 Rembrandt / Ultra-Pro Mike Piazza cards.

Any others out there?

Here's a 1993 Upper Deck of Mike Perez about to autograph the very card that he's being featured on.
Methinks Upper Deck used a bit of Photoshop voodoo.

My first thought was those Ultra-Pro cards as well. I see that COMC has Barry Sanders, David Justice, Jose Canseco ones for sale as well. I thought there were Ken Griffey Jr and Danny Tartabull as well...?

Isn't there a Bob Hamelin card of that? I know there's a Bob Hamelin card that is really weird for some reason? I do a quick search.

Bob is holding up his nameplate from the photo shoot, and it wasn't cropped out of the photo.

The 1996 Topps Ricky Bones shows him holding his 95 Topps card.

Not exactly the same, but the 1988 Donruss wax boxes had Dale Murphy on the front holding his own card.

Not sure but looks like McDowell is passing back an 89 Fleer card.
