Okay, slow day. Christmas Eve! I've had this ball for a couple of years and didn't notice until a couple of weeks ago that there is a date written in ink to the left and below of '1910'.

Can anyone else see it? If you can, what do you think it reads? I've enhanced the date in photoshop etc (but not on this photo you're looking at) and I'm fairly positive what the date is, but I want to see if anyone else sees it without prior knowledge, etc.

This ball is a Reach OAL, specific to the 1910 season. Knowing the date would be/is cool as the ball is pretty certain to be game used.

Merry Christmas, happy holidays n all that! :)

Here's the ball in black/white, which sometimes helps...

I guess I should have at least pointed out that the date is written in month/day format.

It's actually 4/22

The ball was signed/inscribed from umpire Billy Evans to a broadway actress (Edith Luckett, mother of Nancy Reagain) who lived in DC. Billy Evans was the home plate umpire on 4/22, NY Highlanders at Washington. Walter Johnson pitched for Washington in a 3-1 loss. Notable in the game was WaJo's accidental beaning of Birdie Cree.

This is with 4/22 enhanced/traced in photoshop:
