In Colorado, I have a friend who received a shoebox of cards from a coworker in 1997. The coworker cleaned out his grandparents home and found the box in the attic. Inside the shoebox was five partially-opened packs of 1952 Topps, two of which had #311 in it along with a few hundred other cards.

What is a partially opened pack?

One that's been opened, searched, and resealed?

Also, the this guy hired me to clean his house and forgot to lock his safe find.

What is a partially opened pack?

I think that is akin to being partially pregnant.

this guy hired me to clean his house and forgot to lock his safe find.

Is that related to the "I grabbed this FedEx package from someone's porch" find?

Is that related to the "I grabbed this FedEx package from someone's porch" find?

Not to be confused with the "Don't let strangers from Craigslist in your house" find?

How could an auction house resist a "Found in pants pocket after the wash" collection?

Brian (please let me know which auction houses are looking for this type of material)

A Sidd Finch rookie card rated PSA 10.

You know that would be an awesome insert card or co-promotion for Topps/Time. I would totally want it.

How about this one:

The "I robbed the hell outta' this old man by telling him that his cards are worth $50,000 when I knew I could get $300,000+ for them" find.

I was urban spelunking and came across this abandoned building with hundreds of cases of cards sitting on pallets and spilled all over the floor.

OH Wait, that did happen!!!

How about the "I bought a stack of old books and found these cards pressed between the pages" find?

Or the "When my grandfather was a wee lad, Babe Ruth came through his home town on a barnstorming tour and he got the Babe to sign this ball" find?

Or the "My mother used to date Mickey Mantle in high school and she kept this lock of his hair" find?

Or the most likely, "I bought a storage unit and found this trove of '89 Bowman and Score" find?
