As a Mets fan, there were several years where he was the guy I 100 PERCENT did not want to face.

Leaves behind a young family. RIP. Horrible news.

RIP and warmest regards to all Roy's fans and I proudly include myself as one.

I have seen a lot of great pitchers pitch a lot of great games, but one of the very best I ever saw was Halladay's playoff no-hitter against the Reds. He was in complete control the whole way and the Reds never stood a chance.

Once again, we see how very fragile life is...cherish those you love!

I saw his perfect game against the Marlins

There will be a lawsuit against the airplance Icon manufacturer....i thought those planes come with a complete parachute or something. We will get the details in litigation.

Growing up in Toronto and cheering on the Blue Jays, I had the privilege of watching Roy pitch at skydome. He was professional in every manner, and a true ace..He always treated the fans with respect and always took the time to sign autographs for the young fans.. He will always be one of the few players who I have grown to appreciate over the years as a Blue Jays fan

RIP
Mr. Halladay
