Good evening everyone
Im running a fundraising event in December for a Veteran non-profit and we are doing a sports themed silent auction event. Our goal is to raise $100K for this veterans non-profit, so I want to maximize all aspects of this event, including the silent auction. I was hoping to do an online auction prior for a week prior to the actual event and then start the auctions for live at the event. I was curious if anyone knew of possible online venues to do what I described above?

I checked out simple auctions, but they are built for a more enduring and repeating auction. This one would be a one-time use event.

Thank you

Since you want to avoid eBay, presumably because you don't want to pay a percentage in eBay/PayPal fees,
you might consider setting up your own auction page or auction site.

Can't vouch for any of these, but just to save you some time searching for free auction software on Bing or Google,
you might want to look into these apps/services, which seem to be free to use:
https://auctria.com/Az/Account/SignUp
https://www.32auctions.com/pages/pricing.html
http://www.biddingowl.com/
Those links are mostly the pages showing pricing scales for those services, for quick reference, but each of those
links to the homepage and more information for each service.

If you do set up your own page/site, some good tips here:

Try GreaterGiving, com online bidding. Can be used pre-event and during event for auctions using cell phones via cell service or local wifi... Its not free but is created for these types of events...
