Read about him today. Not much of a name down here in the 50 states, but man is he beloved and influential in Canada. I want to listen to his last album. Sounds interesting.

A stellar frontman, lyricist, and singer for a great band. He will be missed.

Hell of a band. Ahead By A Century on of my all time faves. One of the worst things about getting older is witnessing so many cultural reference points passing. Maybe it just re-enforces your own sense of mortality? Seems like just a short time ago I watched a guy named Matt Pinfield debut the Hip's first single on an MTV show I think they called 120 Minutes? Bummer.
