I recently bought two counterfeit cards that are not the normal counterfeits. I'm fighting through the return process with eBay but noticed these two items in which the seller received +feedback.

These were bought on eBates 5% and I'm not sure about eBay Bucks promo. I reported them to eBay along with the problem with the return. What could this seller be trying to get away with?

The best thing you can do is to attach the pictures using the "Attach Files" when making a reply.

When the images are added directly to the post from your album they'll either show or not show depending on how users are accessing the board. If you link them from www.net54baseball.com, anyone accessing the site using net54baseball.com will not be able to see the images (and vice-versa) because in terms of the other domain they're not authenticated to the board.

Maybe post the links to the auctions?

They're album, not sure why they're not working. Here's the "picture URL"

I'd rather not out the seller until I have my refund. Lets just say the seller has +feedback not just for the two Orr's but Leaf Robinson and a couple Mantles. Looks like they were purchased on 8% eBay bucks.

It's the problem I mentioned with how the images/links were embedded.

Low quality scans...hard to tell...something looks off with those cards, but it might be because of the scan.

The Orr rookie is one of those frequently counterfeited cards - should only be bought graded. Bad scan + popular card to reprint = will be fake 99.99% of the time. And the other Orr definitely looks like a reprint. Borders even look bigger than the normal card, way too white, etc.

Hopefully you are able to get your money back on these - they are not good.

So some can see the scans while some can not, weird!

No I did not purchase the Orr, I purchased a counterfeit Billy Martin. The two Orr's were purchased from this seller along with a Leaf Robinson and some others during an 8% eBay bucks day. These buyer's have 1000+ rating and left the seller +feedback and they should have know.

Has anyone ran into an eBay bucks scam? I may just have happened to be the idiot that actually needed the card.

I have been having this problem for a couple weeks at least. If I click on the html/jpeg or whatever it is called. I can see the picture after I log in again on the new page that pops up. Then I can hit refresh on the original page and it will then show up there.

What is the relevancy of eBay Bucks as it pertains to these cards? I'm not sure why the OP continues to mention them. If the seller is selling bad cards, that's all that matters. Unless I'm missing something?

Both those Orrs are 100% fake. The 68-69, as mentioned earlier, has way too large borders.

Basically who ever manages this website needs to just do a rewrite to make sure that net54baseball.com rewrites to www.net54baseball.com. That way everyone is logged in via the www subdomain/version of the site.

Probably a good time to encrypt the site with TLS as well.

I'm a computer systems administrator by trade so little things like this bother me. :D
