There is a variation of #38 Gary Geiger with an 0 on his hat. Does anyone have this and know what the variation is? Shows a pop of 1 total graded on PSA.

Hi Lou:

I have one I can post a scan of. But won't be for a week or so. Maybe someone else can post it before I do.

Lou:

Found a copy sooner than I expected. I have enlarged so you can see the "O" better.

I hope no one here bought the coin mentioned that just sold on ebay.

Another egregious mistake by PSA. This coin is NOT the "O" variation rather just a coin with a printmark.

See https://www.ebay.com/itm/1962-Salada-Coins-38-Gary-Geiger-034-O-034-on-Hat-EX-PSA-5-1-of-1-RARE-/401435485369?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=0k6bpM1YqR1ICpdl1CMu7A%252FYtcY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

There is a small printmark to our left of the B on his cap. Compare that to the photo of the real "O" coin I posted above and you can see the difference.

I have MANY coins with printmarks like this including ANOTHER Geiger. See below with the printmark down and to our right of the B on his cap.
