I was interested in these because three of them are among my favorite T cards (Ketchel, Johnson and Langford) but was blown out by the prices.

I think these went for some really strong prices. Also, how did the Ketchel escape a qualifier (look at the back)?

Anyone win? Bid?

1650 seems insane, then again it's PWCC.

Two bidders took it up almost a grand.

When I pay high prices for cards where a two person bidding war takes the card significantly higher I use the third place bidders final bid as a baseline for value knowing if another copy surfaces it most likely won't hold its value.

This looks like a case though where the card only has one copy that has graded higher and this copy so if you want an ultra high end copy you are going to have to battle it out.

I don't know anything about this set but it is over 100 years old and in investment grade condition so it should be worth something. If this was a baseball card and with the level of star power it would be significantly more valuable I would bet.

I agree low pop could explain the Johnson, I thought that card was more abundant in high grade for some reason, but not the Mayweather going 3x a 10 from 3 days before.
