So I have been buying in auctions for years. Slowly building/hoarding my collection of Hall of Fame autos. I currently have around 1,700 total and 219 different.

As many of you know, when you buy from one of the auction houses the auction stays open long into the night on the last day. Most times I do not know what I actually won until the morning.

I woke up this morning in eager anticipation because I had bid on several items in the Memory Lane Auction.

Here is what I won...

KiKi Cuyler Index Card - I needed another Cuyler since my other one failed authentication.

Bobby Wallace - Index Card with note. This is my first Wallace and he is a tough one.

And finally...

After years of searching and bidding...

Babe Ruth - Looks like an Index Card adhered to the bottom quarter of an old album page. It is a bold auto and it has a full letter PSA/DNA LOA

Ruth was the last of the "major" guys I needed and I really searched for a long time for the right item. Several Ruth items had slipped out of my fingers over the years.

I am simply thrilled to add these autos to my collection.

Thanks for looking.

I have a question...

Once I get the Ruth in hand, I am planning on cutting it down to the original index card or even removing it from the album page (if possible).

If I do either of those, will it void out the PSA/DNA Full Letter?

I plan on sending it into PSA/DNA to be slabbed and have the auto graded.

It appears to be a business card cut, not an index card. If you're planning on having it slabbed and graded, it won't matter. It's full price to have it graded and slabbed. Congrats! I like the boldness of the signature.

Thanks for the info.

The Ruth is much larger than the pic would indicate.

So was the Ruth 2x3.5 or 3x5?

Is there a sticker on it, or did they put the sticker on the Letter?

Theoretically, it shouldn't void out the Letter, if they can locate where they put there DNA spot.
