There was no rhyme nor reason on where the money was sent from the Donations at the Net54baseball Banquet. No Kill shelters in North Texas was Googled and then ones were picked completely randomly. Every one looked at, except one which had horrible reviews, seemed to be really good. Here are the 4 that got almost equal amounts of the Total of $865 collected (after another $50 donation (and matching funds) was gratefully accepted.)

Abandoned Animal Rescue- $200
http://www.aartexas.org/

D.E.L.T.A. Rescue (not in Texas but rocks) $200
http://www.deltarescue.org/

Braveheart Animal Rescue $200
http://www.braveheartanimalrescue.org/site/

Rockwall Pets $265

Thanks again everyone. I think we helped the cause.

Nice Leon, here is a Treeing Walker Hound that got dumped in front of our house that we took in and cared for (Checked by a Vet and Rabies shot). We got her a home in New Jersey. We also have a Blue Tick Beagle Schnauzer Mix from a Beagle Rescue that is a part of our family

Excellent! One of our local pet rescue shelters has an Amazon Wishlist and I try to send something - usually food - their way when I'm ordering for myself. Great cause!

Heres my rescue. Adopted her when she was a baby at a local pet co, from adoption place that visits pet co's on the weekends with dogs from kill shelters in Oklahoma.

Insane, who would kill this puppy?

She will be 1 year old next week

Following the passing of our beautiful Yorkie Poo Drake back in Feb., my girlfriend and I picked up the below rescue Lucy.

We got her when she was ten pounds. She is now 55 pounds.

We also have two cats (Callie and Lily) that we rescued from outside.

Thank you, Leon, for your great work!!!

This is our rescue. We actually had 6 dogs at one point but 1 got seriously ill and passed away. We have a smooth fox terrier, a chihuahua, 2 Schnauzers we inherited when my in laws passed away and we could not give them away to a shelter. And this is Max, a rescue we bought for my son. Max adores him and never really leaves him. Plus he is good therapy for my son.

Sorry, trying to figure how to post images from imgur.

Leon- What a wonderful idea! I wish I had been able to get there.

Giving to my local Paws Humane Center is my #1 Charity. That is where I got my best friend (see pic) five years ago.

They have a goal of becoming a No-Kill Facility and I'm very proud that my donations have been of some assistance toward this noble goal.

I urge everyone to give to your local Animal Rescue facility - any amount is both welcome and helpful.

Net54 raised another $38 for another rescue tonight in the live auction area. The donation is being given to The Furry Angel Foundation in Rancho Mirage, California. This rescue was almost out of business last year until some generous donors came forward to help. Every dollar helps and these folks do a great service saving cocker spaniels and other small breed dogs at risk.

Everyone make sure to order from Smile.Amazon when ordering anything from Amazon, that way a % of all your purchases goes towards whatever charity you want, including all the great animal ones. I do Seattle Humane Society myself.

No problem, it's completely free btw, Amazon funds 100% (they can afford it).

Great program, wish they advertised it a bit more.

I've been using Smile.Amazon for over a year now and all monies go to the New England Lab Rescue which is where my Nicki came from. Every Amazon order I make creates a contribution. Please consider using it to support your favorite charity.
