I never really saw Baylor play but watched the Phillies and Daulton a lot. He was a leader on and off the field. My prayers for both of them and their families.

Very sad. Was a fan of both when I was a kid. :(

Someone (I don't recall who it was) once said of Baylor that when he stood at home plate "he just looked like an RBI."

Baylor will always hold a special place for his part of the '86 Red Sox team.....one of the ugliest signatures in the history of the game, though. RIP Don.

I have seen a lot worse I can find don Baylor in that scribble there are some where you can't identify one letter.

........ever see Greg Maddux' scrawl?

RIP Don Baylor and Darren Daulton...........saw Don Baylor play many times as an Angel. He never gave in to a pitch, that's for sure (HBP career record until broken by Biggio).

Baylor was one of those players who always seemed to make a team better. Finished his career going to the WS three straight years with three different teams. And not necessarily teams that were good the year before
Boston 5th in 85, Minnesota 6th in 86, Oakland 3rd in 87.

I always liked seeing him play.
