I'm currently reading (actually it's mostly photo's) Baseballs Golden Age the
photographs of Charles M. Conlon. There are a lot of great photos in the book
and one of them is this Joe Cronin that was used for the 1933 #63 Goudey.
In the photo he has a bandage on his thumb and a cut on his lip that was
eliminated on the card.
