The below is a bronze statue, approx 10 inches in height, titles "sportsman" and signed by Piccolay. It depicts a young lad with a cricket paddle under his arm. Picciola was born in the med 1800s and did his work in the latter 1800s and early 1900s.

There is one identical on ebay now for $480. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Antique-Bronze-Statue-Sculpture-of-a-Sportsman-Boy-by-Picciole-Marble-Base-/232352426636?hash=item361948aa8c:g:FZEAAOSwsW9Y0r-j

A little correction on the artist, seems as if there were two Picciole artists, probably father and son. Father N. Picciole was born about 1850 and the son
JM Picciole, was born about 1900. The "sportsman" sculpture was done by JM Picciole.
