I've recently seen a lot of stuff pop on the bay with their COA's anyone know if they are legit? Or are they another one of those fake companies that popup to make some $$$ then disappear?

Here's an Aaron signed ball auction featuring their COA.

An Aaron sig on a crummy greaseball with a COA with no contact info, touting Board Certified Forensic Examination? PLEASE tell me you aren't actually considering this ball!

Let's all email these guys and see if anyone actually answers!

They are really covering their butts by the overuse and exaggerated highlighting of the word OPINION in their copy machine quality COA .
I would not touch this baseball, if someone does they are just proving Barnum correct .

Platinum Collectibles is a "Florida" COA where the "Florida" forgeries originate.

The "Florida" COAs range from Nicholas Burczyk (the first "Florida" COA) to Platinum Collectibles.

The number of "Florida" COAs is approximately twenty.

The below are "Florida" COAs. There is a ring of sellers (or it could be just one person) who list and sell the "Florida" forgeries.

The number of "Florida" sellers is approximately twenty also.

The names may change, but when you see this boilerplate COA language, run away.

Ken, those scammers never reply to messages. Most of them have me "Blocked" from asking a question.

The ease that scammers can now operate on ebay is appalling.
It is as bad now as it was during the days before Operation Bullpen.
Does ebay even care that they are hurting a multi million dollar hobby?
Ha,, no answer necessary.

no I wasn't considering it, but they caught my eye while looking for an Eddie Matthews ball (as ebay linked some Aaron stuff at the bottom) it looked dodgy and I wanted to come bring it up in the forum so as to get some assurance I was right and to help warn others.

Yeah, it's getting pretty ridiculous. I've been spending time learning Braves sigs as well as I can so as to not have to put too much stock in ANY cert. service. I have to say tho, later year Aaron sigs are so messy that they are very tough to tell from a fake, but the early one's are getting out of my price range..... it's a bit frustrating.

Thanx again, Mr Simon, for your expertise, it's ALWAYS appreciated! ;)

Below is the latest "Florida" COA from Ebay seller The Cleanuphitter.

There are approximately two dozen "Florida" sellers. My gut feeling tells me there are actually only two or three people that are the "Florida" sellers.
