Just won this photo in RMY
The player standing on the right is identified as Barney Brown but I am wondering if it is actually Martin Dihigo. Both players were in the team - 1938 habana- and have similar facial structures. But every thing I see on Brown lists him at 5-9 to 5-11. The player next to him is Alex Radcliff who is listed at 6-0 to 6-2. This leads me to think that the 6-3 Dihigo is the more likely Id
Any thoughts would be appreciated

Jason
I don't think it's dihigo. Sorry. I know that isn't what you wanted to hear.

No worries Travis
I bought it for the Gonzales and Torres for my Long Branch Cubans collection
But if not Dihigo who- do we just have bad height data on Brown

Whatever side of the fence you are on, you can definitely see some similarities (but to me, the ears are especially problematic.) Whether it proves it one way or the other, here is a graphic for comparison purposes…

Here's a slightly better scan
If it were just any baseball photo I would not think there is enough for an Id
But this is a team photo 1938-9 Havana where he was the teams leading pitcher
To some extent it would be odd if he was not in the photo

Whether they look alike to anyone doesn't matter - we can see the ear shape just well enough to pretty much eliminate the possibility of Dihigo. Incidentally - the ear shape does match that of Barney Brown (below left).
