W575-1 and D383 Koester Bread

I've been putting together a Type run of Walter Schang cards. I'm really confused now on how I can tell the difference between some of the blank back versions. You can't tell by photos, but is it the thickness of the paper, or the quality of the printing, the size of the card. I need to be educated !!!!

Schang is one of the cards that Rhett (he is the one who posted the most informative info on the linked thread) identified as one of cards that it would not be easy to identify as a Koester Bread issue or W575-1. Perhaps if the example is heavier stock (if I understand correctly) then it could be more conclusively designated as Koester, as it is mentioned in thread that Koester Bread cards were issued in two different versions, and the thicker stock one would be exclusively Koester.

Gary, the eBay seller of the card you are looking at is Rhett (a Net54 member), who also "wrote the book" so to speak on the card issues you are seeking. By this, I am referring to the fantastic article Rhett did entitled "1920-22 E121 and Related Sets: Many of the Mysteries Unraveled" that appeared in the Fall 2011 Issue #26 of Old Cardboard Magazine. For several years, I have been pursuing these cards of Walter Johnson and Sam Rice with all the different backs, and I make very frequent reference to Rhett's article. I highly recommend that you obtain a copy. BTW, your E121-80 of Schang may have one of the scarcer backs, depending on which way you flipped your card over to take a pic of the back.
