to Josh Hamilton who was just released from his minor league contract after injuring his Good knee.

While he always had difficulty with substance abuse, I don't recall him ever being suspended for PEDs.

His troubles came away from the field and I hope, if this is the end of his career, that he finds a way to handle his 'civilian' life better.


Thanks to him for the unparalleled Home Run Derby performance in Yankee Stadium...that was truly amazing!

Would have been interesting to see what kind of career numbers this guy could have put up if the drugs/booze would not have taken away so many of his younger years.

I wish him the best if he chooses to continue to pursue his baseball career but more importantly luck in his battles with substance abuse.
