A friend of mine asked me to research this for him. What is it? Some kind of card that belonged to a game. Next image is a post card. Ne1 know which team it is?

Does the jersey on the second one say "UNION MWA"? It's a little fuzzy.

I'll get him to take a better picture.

The game card is from Line Drive, a boardgame made in 1953 by Lord & Freber. There are 142 cards in a full set.

MWA is a fraternal organization called Modern Woodmen of America. They were all over so the postcard is likely to never be identified if it's not posted.

However, connecting it to a city of Union, would narrow it down a bit. Is the guy in the top right African American? If so, that would likely make it a Northern state. Union MO comes up quickly when I search "Modern Woodmen Union" but it could be Union NY or any other city that had a chapter.

Amazing what help you can get here! I'm still waiting for a better picture.

Just talked to him. He said it says "Union, Iowa" on the bottom right. He's taking pictures now.
