I probably would have guessed Joe Girardi. Didn't know Lou had olive skin or that he sported a soul patch.

Geez. And people make fun of 1920s strip cards. . . .

Seriously, that is soooo bad.

That is pretty bad. I always disliked his goofy W590 card, but this one has a rather unnecessary surfer dude vibe...I'm surprised he wasn't given curly, bleached shoulder length hair.

A few more tweaks and it could have been Bruce Springsteen.

That's a pretty horrible looking Gehrig card. I think this card is his worst looking card from his playing days. (Should be labeled Universal Toy instead of W560.)

At least yours looks like a caricature of Gehrig, the Topps looks nothing like him. What is around his neck? Airbuds? And not putting him in pinstripes is even worse.

They are sunglasses.

I like the red line through half the card. :)

Thought it was David Feherty at first glance...

I think the cards show the same image.

Worst? I don't know about worst, and it's not that bad of a pose, but the W565 has never done it for me. Not sure why...

I'm not loving the Gehrig National Chicle card either, but I'm pretty sure that was Monty Sheldon who did the art and if you've seen any of his customized baseballs or other work, a lot of it is stunningly good.

Have you looked up the 2010 National Chicle cards?

Every single one is god awful and makes a strip card look like the Mona Lisa.

I am convinced they gave the artists 15 minutes and tab of brown acid to do each one.

I've figured out a few:

Cy Young = John Smoltz
Mickey Mantle = Mark Mcqwire
Babe Ruth = Chipper Jones

Are these the sequal to those 60's Topps 'Who Am I" cards?

Campy seems to have been modeled on Tattoo from Fantasy Island.

Maybe he is just outside this shot:
