This card got a PSA 10 Gem Mint, what interests me is the left side cut of the card is ragged, Does PSA not take this into account when grading cards? Has anyone else seen a card cut like this that got a 9 or 10. It is a perfect card except for the irregular edge. I have an card with a similar rough edge and wondered if it was worth grading.

Thanks !

Is it Topps or O-Pee-Chee? Most OPC cards from the 60s-80s have rough cut edges like that, and PSA does not take off due to them coming off the printing line like that.

A rough cut is not viewed as a flaw but is actually often seen as a positive and confirmation of it not being trimmed

I have a 1964 PSA 10 with a rough-cut that is Topps and have seen plenty of high-grade cards with it.

If it's a rough factory cut there's no deduction, only if the edges are chipped.

Bob,

I had a much better image of you being a mild mannered collector of impossible to find cards :D

Worry about the old OPC with sharp edges
