Can anyone tell me anything about this item? It was advertised on eBay as a souvenir from the Hall of Fame, circa 1939. It is approximately 1 1/4 inches, and shows minor wear to some of the raised areas. I was able to find a few others online, but very little info. I guess worst case I'm out $28 if it is a modern item, reproduction etc. Thanks!

They are old. I have seen some sellers claim that they were given out at the 1939 celebration at Cooperstown. I have seen some of them that are very worn so I believe this is a good possibility that they are from that time period.

They have some age to them but are not from 1939 as they picture the first addition to the Museum buiding that was added some years later.

Great info, thanks Dan and Tom. Makes sense... Landis' words couldn't be quoted on a coin that was handed out the same day as his speech!
