Just curious if anybody has any opinions on this Stockton auto. Even though the price is ridiculous, the auto looks a little funky to me.

Here is a Stockton that was signed in his book 'Assisted' during a book signing. I owned one in person acquired by someone else that was similar to the book. I see some similarity, but would still pass, even at $40.00

Just an FYI, Stockton came around about the time I stopped getting autographs in person. For myself, and my graphing buddies at the time can back it up, Stockton consistently refused to sign any trading cards as long as I can remember.

No problem with pictures, or even balls but never cards. Don't know if he changed his tune later.

Thanks Michael... that SS looks more like a typical Stockton auto!

MooseDog - that's pretty wild. Thanks for the info. I guess that explains why I can't find ANY good looking signed rookies of his. I wonder why he won't sign cards...

I attended his basketball camp as a kid at Gonzaga. I had no problem getting him to sign some cards including a 85 Star

Stockton was the guest of honor at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament 2 or 3 years ago, and he did not sign a single card throughout the entire event. He did sign any other item people had but repeatedly said no cards.

Do you happen to still have this, or have a scan of it?
