Major fail. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-E92-Crofts-Cola-Christy-Mathewson-HOF-PSA-5-EX-POP-1-ONLY-NONE-HIGHER-/381920929659?hash=item58ec42e77b:g:txsAAOSwt5hYdq6 z)

PSA slabs this as an E92 Mathewson Croft's Cocoa. A true rarity, with only 4 graded by PSA. This one is EX/5, Pop 1, none higher. The best PSA Cocoa Mathewson ever.

Problem is, it's an E92 Dockman. There are more than eight times as many PSA E92 Dockman Mathewsons, including six 5s, four 6s, one 7, and one 8.

Probstein then hypes it as a Pop 1, none higher, and refers to it multiple times as an E92 "Croft's Cola." Which isn't a thing.

Boy, that card's looking pretty loosey-goosey in that slab.

Data entry errors don't get me in a huff like they do many on here.

Yeah, but it does bother me when Probstein calls it "1 only with none higher."

He took the time to look up the pop report, but not the time to turn the card over?

It's OK it's just a data entry error PSA does it all the time, nothing to get excited about. Same goes for Probstein just a mistake and nothing to worry about.:D

I would think the person with the next lowest card would be complaining because he really has the highest graded.

Honestly though, I think I take more offense personally at "only none higher" being considered a logical utterance, lol.

It's over $1,800 already.

I don't mind data entry errors when they work in your favor. I once won an auction for an e98 Cobb that was actually a rarer e94.

Of course, this mistake will not benefit the winner.

Over$ 2900 apparently isn't a record for a Dockman's Matty in a 5 holder.... Congrats to all involved....well, guess not :(

10/30/16 REA Auction $3,900.00
4/26/15 REA $4,200.00
9/8/13 eBay $3,025.00
4/29/08 eBay $2,639.00
12/8/06 Mastro $3,355.20

Yeah, looks like a fairly weak price. You gotta wonder if the mislabel was a turn-off for some buyers, for whatever reason.

Guess it is. I have been living under a rock. It's a great looking card regardless of price.

You may be right...I have mathewson Crofts Cocoa in my eBay search and this flawed listing didn't trigger it of course. Those with Dockman and sons searches would have missed it as well.
