After seeing the grading question thread I was looking at them on eBay. Are there different versions/variations of this card? I bought one on the BST section and it looks like the one in the top link except mine has a slight trim.:) Is the second link a variation? The 3rd link looks like someone cracked the slab and put a reprint in.

After some GOOGLE research I found that the backs can have the names in all caps or a combination. The top two links in the above post also have a slight cropping difference on the front photo.

Only legit variations are T206s.... :)

That fad is about over, I was hoping to start another one.;):D

When I first bought my Rookie Ted all I seen was the all caps version when looking at graded cards on eBay. All the reprints I seen was the ones with the lower case letters and the differently cropped front picture.

When I was looking into collecting the 39 Play Ball set I noticed that all of the sample cards have all caps names on the back and all of the high number cards have the mixed capital letters and lower case letters. So my thoughts are that the cards with all caps are the first printing of the cards and the mixed letters are the second printing of the cards as only the low number cards are printed with both versions of the players names.
