The winner of this Net54baseball Contest (3) – Dec., 2016, will win $77.77 !! This will be similar to our last contests, but not quite. The winner will be the member who guesses the particular card with ONLY THE lowest ENDING AUCTION price of the auctions ending below (no shipping fees or anything else included). *For an auction to count it has to sell. ONLY ONE AUCTION SHOULD BE GUESSED AND IT IS THE lowest ONE AT END *which sells. To be clear a particular card DOES need to be stated with the amount and only that card listed below will be used to pick the winner. If a member guesses a price and doesn't pick a card then that guess won't count.
There is one edit allowed per guess but only one post per member. All guesses and edits must be done by Sunday, 12/26/2016, 6:37 PM CST in this thread. A post or edit marked 6:38pm CST, or later is disqualified. In the unlikely event of a tie the first guess wins.
Bonus**If one of the first 3 posters with guesses wins they will get an additional $37.77 but there can’t be an edit in those posts to claim this prize.

My original guess was Adcock for $0, but in my haste to be one of the first 3 guessers I failed to read the guidelines for this particular contest, which stated that a card had to have a bid to be valid. Thus I had to change my guess for Adcock for $199.99, the opening bid amount. My bonus was blown, and then I had to hope that there was one poor sap out there wanted Adcock for a penny shy of $200.

Sometimes saps are harder to find than 100% maple syrups at a 7-11.

Such is the life of a professional Net54 contest entrant.

Shear luck on my part. I actually won 2 out of 3 December contests. Did something similar maybe 9 years ago with Net54 contests so probably will not win for another 9 years. Kind of like the Cubs and their World Series record. 1907, 1908, 2016, and hopefully 2017.
