Has anyone ever positively identified a building or structure in a t206 ?

I 've attached a few examples from the set. I have particular interest in the Camnitz card because of spending a lot of time in and around Pittsburgh.

I know its a longshot, but you guys know everything....

I think  there's an old thread that gives some NY sky line shots that may be in Burch's back ground.

Camnitz, no idea, looks like a lot of "fair ground" backings you see on others.

Clancey is one of my favorites, with the Frank Lloyd Wright house in back ground. :)

Is it just me or does Burch look like Babe Ruth. I've always thought this....

Regarding the Burch (batting) card, my guess is it is the Statue of Liberty in the background.

The picture of Burch appears to have been taken at the old Brooklyn Heights field when he played for Brooklyn.

The Statue of Liberty is clearly seen from this venue.

As a non T206 collector (*except some backs and scraps) I haven't really noticed the landmarks and/or buildings too much. Nice observation on this one.

.Agreed. Here's a typical view from Brooklyn. Just lower the elevation a bit and it's nearly identical to the background image on Burch's card.

The backgrounds could also be creative license, as in they are fabricated.
