Just got back from the hospital visiting my postman, who got a double hernia today and threw his back out carrying the new Heritage catalogs up to the front door. Amazing stuff.

I thought there was something wrong with my browser. I'm looking at it on line. The past two days I've been looking 100 items/page, looking while walking the doggy, sitting on throne pondering my kingdom, during spare time. It feels like I'm in page 700 and am just halfway though the prologue to the main auction. Is everyone in the hobby getting out of the hobby at the same time and selling it through Heritage?

Had trouble lifting the darn box. Some serious weight for sure.

Pretty amazing collection of Clemente stuff. I think that's catalog 3 of 4.

Definitely an impressive auction. Watching like 15 items. Hope to win at least a couple.

I think my mailman quit after delivering that monstrosity of a catalog(s). That being said I am enjoying a cold one watching game 7 and working my way through the catalogs. Incredible stuff. Have several bids and they certainly won't last.

My Mailman had to make a separate trip with the catalog.

The Wagner's edges look almost uniformly shaped...altered?

Scrolled through the first page of it online and saw 25 E107s  eBay has ONE right now, and the rest of the auction houses combined probably only have a few, if not zero. Just incredible

Accidentally dropped it on the floor and it left a dent in the hardwood.

If you want a red cobb (9), green cobb (6), bat off cobb (4), bat on cobb (4), 51 mantle (10) or 52 Mantle (7), you might be in luck. The other thousands of cards etc....aren't bad either. Catalog received a few days ago...

Wow, they have been getting the best stuff lately. Amazed that the 52 Mantle 8.5 will bring in a million. Does every investment banker want to have one?

I'm always a bit torn when there are multiples of an item that I want. On one hand it seems like a better chance to get one, on the other hand I'm never sure on how to bid on them. Do I put 2 lowish bids (so that I'd be happy winning both?) 1 bid at my absolute max and 1 at a price I consider reasonable? Always tough because you don't know which will sell higher and you don't want to lose both, but when they are pricey cards, winning both may be pushing it...

Don't forget the 1933 Goudey Ruths. You can get all 4 in PSA 8.

Add 2 more 52 mantles if you include the sets.

Is there no end to the bounty of these beautiful cards? Sellers must be coming out of the woodwork in droves and the supply curve rising sharply. Auction houses seem to have an inexhaustible supply of star, rare, scarce and chase cards on offer. Does this mean we are experiencing a bubble for certain cards but not others? Are record auction prices realized mean that card prices remain elastic. Who knows?
