View Full Version : Fake Cobb Ghost on Ebay
If you are bidding on this one you should stop, it is a fake:

The T206 printing process could not produce that effect.

Same seller listed this card a month ago with a starting bid of $4,000 dollars ---no sale. Was discussed back then and with bidding at $300 dollars obviously needs to be talked about again.

Thanks David, I think I was part of that thread but for some reason I couldn't find it to include here. Please post a link if you can locate it. Thanks!

It appears that the seller won his own card.
It appears that the seller won his own card.
Bid pattern doesn't look very kosher. How do you know it's the seller?

I don't know for sure. I am looking at what you are and making the same assessment you are.
The winning bidder has a zero feedback history, with an interest in jewelry and has never won a single item, except this card. The chances that the buyer has an interest in a specialty T206 item like this is next to impossible.
I think the conclusion is pretty reasonable.
I agree. I was just askin'.. :)
