I'm not very familiar with the registry. Why do they want you to remove a card and why can't they do it themselves?

They can do it themselves if they wait 3 days if the item is already on someone elses and can send a picture of the card they have. However on the first day i have received 10s of emails on the same card. Could be a glitch in the system or someone that REALLY REALLY wants you to remove the card!

So if you sell a card and the new owner puts it on his list they will ask you to remove it from yours?

It seems like whenever I complain about something people either:

1. Don't care.
2. Are happy I'm miserable.

Per the registry, you shouldn't be adding a card until you have it in hand

Well if you consign a card to pwcc and someone buys it, you dont know who bought the card..but you get an email from the PSA website asking you to remove the card....if you sell even 4 or 5 cards you can get 100 emailis..

i dont know about you but i try to avoid getting spam so i dont get 100 emails for viagra in a day etc....it would be nice for psa to only allow 1 email through their website a day i guess.

Whats nice about selling a card to someone directly in the mail and keeping the card on the registry is you know they got the card when you get an email from psa to remove it..but 100 emails for 4-5 cards seems excessive .

Yes the 'Stache is the thread police. I guess there are no other threads ever on net54 in history that were worthy of a 'you needed to start a topic about this' Mine was the most outrageous one..

disclaimer- the 'Stache is a great poster and valuable member of net54 and i learn a lot from his posts and enjoy reading them in all actuality.

Part of the excitement for some is updating the registry and seeing your set rating go up. I personally find it frustrating to wait to add a card to my registry that I have in hand. I always wonder why sellers don't remove before shipping or consigning.

Relevant topic - even if I'm on the other side ;)

I think it would be nice for a consignor or seller to remove a card from their registry at the time of purchase so I can add it without having to send any emails or remove requests.

one email isnt a big deal though and very easy to send. Also you arent supposed be able to add a card to the registry until its actually in hand not just when purchased
