Evidently, the Ecobod Crane of the pitching mound has a deep aversion to 'leisure suits', 'disco' collars and jerseys that are designed NOT to be tucked in.

...and if you try to 'sneak it in on him' just before a scheduled start, he is likely to go all 'Edward Scissorhands' on them.

Anyone looking to give up a lot of prospects for this style-conscious lefty needs to be aware of his wardrobe requirements.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: :rolleyes::rolleyes:

After giving it more thought, I can think of a couple of valid reasons why Sale would object to this particular type jersey:

He is 6'6" and they're lying if they say he weighs more than 170 lbs.

With his head and neck being so far above ground level, the 'disco' collars with their outsized lapels could pull in a gust of wind and send the poor man flying while not being able to tuck in his jersey would eliminate the only help he has keeping his pants from falling down.

He has already come close to being fined while wearing the White Sox pinstripe version...because there was only room for half a stripe on his pants.

So, what am I trying to say?

Chris Sale doesn't frequent buffets.
