What is everyone's opinion of them?? I recently bought my first item and am watching some other auctions. I like the idea of unique low production items of newer players. I usually stick to vintage but this may become a new niche' for me. Here's a pic of my first pickup, a 1983 proof sheet with Tony Gwynn. https://c2.staticflickr.com/9/8168/28423836705_a22d336391_z.jpg (https://flic.kr/p/KiHAo6)1983 uncut proof sheet with Tony Gwynn Rookie (https://flic.kr/p/KiHAo6) by Paul Herbener (https://www.flickr.com/photos/137748538@N02/), on Flickr

I love lots of the stuff they have, as far as old stuff, but I don't buy much of their new stuff.
So far, I have been super happy with things I bought from them.

I've picked up a few items for my Mets collection, I love that they are making this stuff available.

Paul -

I personally really like most of the items from thetoppsvault. Really the only thing I'm not crazy about is the sets that are produced to be blank backed so they are automatically 1/1 type cards. Now that uncut '83 proof sheet is very cool.

I'm like you, I do pick up mainly vintage, or what I mainly collect pre-80's, but do pick up some modern now and then if the price is right. I pretty much just collect one player so if any of his items come up for sale, which is few and far between, I do try to pick them up if I can afford.

Ben - LOVE the Murphy color separations. Now you "need" the match print, transparency, etc.

Adam - those match prints are the bomb! So awesome...

By the way now it the time of year where the Topps Vault starts to list some premium items. When it's around National time they love to put a display out and they'll preview their upcoming auctions on eBay; of course they want NICE stuff out there. Take a look!
