In the Fall 1973 issue of the Sport Hobbyist, Lionel Carter wrote a full-page article about his memories of Jefferson Burdick. This was an expanded and adapted version of an article that Carter had written for the June 1, 1963 Card Collector's Bulletin (#144), shortly after Burdick had died. I've scanned and posted Carter's 1973 article below (which I had to scan in two parts), and below that I've added all the tributes to Burdick from Card Collector's Bulletin #144, including Carter's.

Great first hand accounts of Burdick by many people that knew him very well. Thanks for posting.
