Got 2 upgrades today. Both vintage signatures. Thanks Peter.

A few new items from last month while at the Boxing Hall of Fame induction weekend. The first item I have been working on for a few years and wanted to get good signatures on it. I only wanted the athletes pictured. Completed this year it is 8x10 cardstock.

The second is an official 1976 Olympic cover with a boxing cancellation. I can add two more signatures to this - Ray Leonard and Davey Lee Armstrong. Howard Davis, Jr. and Steve McCrory are deceased. Clint Jackson is serving life in prison in Alabama.

Three of about 60 index cards I got that weekend. All in ballpoint. Robert Duran, Andrzej Golota and Lupe Pintor 2016 inductee.

A couple of items from the past week.

First edition book signed by James B. Connolly the year it was published. Connolly won the first ever gold medal in the modern Olympics when he won the hop, step and jump, now called the triple jump, at the 1896 Olympic Games.

A.C. Gilbert signed book. Gilbert won the gold medal in pole vault at the 1908 Olympics. He is also well known for his other endeavors. Opened the Mysto Manufacturing Company which sold magic sets. It became the A.C. Gilbert Company which sold magic, chemistry and microscope sets. He also developed the Erector Set, his most famous toy. He purchased American Flyer trains and standardized their scale and made them realistic. In the early 1950's he sold an atomic energy lab kit.

This has a nice full signature. He signed many copies of this book with just 'A.C.'

Picked up on eBay from a storage locker buyer, was unsure about authenticity until another collector helped me get Knoblauch to respond on Twitter!

Found in a used book store today. I never got Kareem IP in my chasing days, seemed good to me but anyone have any thoughts on authenticity?

Ballpoint signature of David Bowie, who adds the year, “93,” on a white 5.25 x 3.25 Isolar compliments card. In very fine condition. Isolar was Bowie’s production company.
