Just scanned most of my collection, would like to share it with you guys in particular.

Any recommendations for the best image hosting site to display your collection? I just tried photobucket but was having issues with putting the cards in a certain order. I plan to have it on net54 as well, but figured it would be as nice to have a link in my signature to explore. Any and all opinions welcome, thanks!

I like Collector Focus, but admittedly have not explored other options in detail.

I just use my pics up-loader then send them to my documents where I can search and attach them here.

I see many guys have links in their sigs but most, when I open them, seem to have issues, at least according to Avast security?

There are a few older threads on this, one started by me:

There are many good options but I ended up going with Flickr b/c I liked the look of it, the ease of use, the cost (free), and the fact that you can zoom in on the scans.

I use photobucket...............but then I never explored any other options. Maybe I will try imgur.

Imgur is the way to go.

I would also vote for imgur as a general image hosting site and a place to put your collection. It's great for posting images here with better resolution, and it's good for archiving your images.

It would also be worth it to put some, if not all, of your cards on collectorfocus.com, since that site is sportscard and sports memorabilia focused. I will occasionally browse other people's collections over there, so that's a good place if you just want random collectors to see your stuff.

I've used Image Event for about five years and it works for me just fine.

For about 13 bucks a month I have my own website for hosting and everything else. I like it because it's dedicated...can be rearranged and is easy to work on.

...after several name changes , they are going by the handle " Vendio.com/my/ihost/ ".....three dollars per month......they'll safely store several thousand scans of old large baseball cards for that charge.....never a problem....

...yes , I'm old enough to remember when they were called " Honesty.com"...

It sounds like you need help with this, Irv.

Your link works fine but when I opened CW's above, I got the "Threat detected from Avast" warning again.

This has happened more than a few times on here with various links but I have been told these are false positives?

I trust Avast and will continue to use it.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I think I'm going to go with imageevent, but I'll also try to put the collection on collectorfocus since a net54er is involved in the site. Hoping to make a thread soon once I've put it all together!

I've never tried Imageevent or Flickr and I've used IMGUR before. But I will say Collectorsfocus is kind of a pain in the ass. It's not as easy to upload as it should be.
