I listed a two items for sale more then 24h ago and I can’t find the items I listed for sale. The items just don't showing up in the general search. Is anyone else having this problem?

I listed an item for sale around 7 p.m. yesterday and was able to find it through a general search this morning. So, it would appear that the problem is not affecting everyone's listings.

If you let me know the items you listed, I can try to search for them. Perhaps one device will have different results.

If you are searching on the mobile app there can be quite a delay sometimes. On the desktop version, should show up relatively soon afterwards.

Do they show up under your account as being listed or drafts?

Search has been really screwed up lately. A few days ago I found an item doing a general site search and then went to that sellers listings and was unable to find it searching his own listings. Had to scroll through every item he had to stumble upon it.

Also depending on which window I had open, the seller either had like 635 items or 57 items up for sale. Pretty disconcerting for the smaller seller without a mass following already.

If it's an item with lots of hits on a search yours may not show up. The big sellers get priority in search results

Having the same problem....type in 1971 Topps Speedy Duncan PSA 7. The only one that shows up is one for around $15. Mine is for sale for $8, but no one can see it cause it isn't showing up.

I had this happen to me once before. I wanted to control when my listings went up so I just ended all of them (under my account they showed as active like yours do) and then relisted at another time when everything worked as it should. No need to contact Ebay for a handful of items, though I can see going through that hassle if you listed 2,000 things.

I have had this happen to me before...I usually cancel the auctions and relist if the listings don't show after a few hours.........Jerry

if you look deep into the bowels of eBay disclaimers and the like - I remember reading that at times your listing won't show up AT ALL. I have a tracker and over the years there were a few times I was convinced that happened to me (the reason I looked into it). Only a handful of times perhaps out of 10,000+ listings but just supposition - I infrequently monitored my listings that closely so it may have been more.......

As big and as old as ebay is you would think they would have the best search out there, but it's really the worst. Why did they make it harder for people to search things by eliminating the asterisk search? A lot of times when I'm trying to research an item I will look in ebay's completed listings and then in current listings. If I can't find an item I'll google it and it seems like 9 times out of 10 there is a current listing that shows up on Google, but can't be found with ebay's search. It's maddening.
