I can still remember getting a full box of wax packs from 1977 Topps, 1978 Topps, 1979 Topps, 1980 Topps, and 1981 Topps (in 5 consecutive years) for Easter. I LOVED getting those! I remember in 1982 telling my parents to not get me the cards because my interests had changed......you know......girls etc....:)
What a stupid decision! :)
I remember those mornings like it was yesterday. I also remember buying my first T206 from the "Trader Speaks" back in 1977 for $14 postpaid. Wahoo Sam Crawford!!!! I remember getting that in the mail like it was Christmas in July!!!!!
Funny, can't remember where my car keys are, or what I ate for dinner last night..........shows you where you my priorities are!!! :)))):cool:

Great story! I remember getting packs also!! my mom would have a basket set up.... was awesome......do you remember putting the sticker books together in 1982 ?????? or 1981?????????????:) I do wow.....
