Hey Bill
Really appreciate you posting your own personal copy, addressed to you, from about 55 1/2 yrs ago. That is pretty cool. The pictures seem to be kind of small when I click on them and when I tried to enlarge them and host them for you, to get them bigger and already open, they came out too blurry. That often happens when enlarging scans. Not sure how to get bigger scans but I am willing to help any way I can. ....thanks again (and say hi to Wayne for me) ..This was at 135% of the scan size...and the below one is hosted at regular size.

I have a bunch of issues of Card Comments from that period, and I may have that one, but I'm not sure. I'll have to check when I get home, but if I do, I could scan my copy.

I do have that issue, part of a run of consecutive issues I have from September 1960 to April 1961. Here are bigger scans:

The NBC set shown above has a caption saying it is believed to be the first female on a baseball card. We have learned a lot in the last 55 yrs..We know now that it was probably the 1880s for the first females on baseball cards..(thanks for posting those David).

PS....I saw a Space Patrol reference, I will never forget that old cartoon and watching it on Saturday (or other) mornings.

Love the ad on page 19 for a 1952 Topps set (1-407) being offered to the first person that sends a $65.00 check. A quick Google search shows that $65 in 1960 = $522 in 2016. Oh, to have a time machine.....
