Another card I picked up recently in a lot. I didn't notice until it was in hand, but there is a straight pencil line along the right border with has been been hand cut/trimmed in some fashion. Similar lines show up on cards from the "impossible" Sweet Cap 350-460 factory 30 subset (http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=210363&page=3) that have been on eBay.

This line could have been added after it was trimmed, but why? And also, if it was there before, why is the trim so bad? Any thoughts?

Hi Erick,

It could be that someone cut up a scrap sheet way back when, drew pencil lines as a guide and used something like a straight edge/box cutter to make the cuts. If cut length wise first, it's easy to see how someone's hand could waver just a little bit, resulting in the poor cut. Hell, I've done the same thing working on school projects with my kids when cutting things out on paper boards/foam boards...
