I have had these two. Can anyone tell off hand if these are completely fake or not or if they look real. Both are actually signed with marker not a printed signature off the computer

Don't like either one, I'd steer clear.

Both are forgeries.

The first Mantle forgery is from a Long Island forger.

How can you tell so easily?

For me, I've taken the time to train my eyes.

By the way, the majority of Mantle forgeries are so bad, they can be opined as bad in one second.

So basically they are terrible forgeries. I mean if they were fake but good at it you would never be able to tell right?

Discerning good from bad autographs is a learned skill. By putting in the time to study the subjects that interest you, you can become very skilled at telling good from bad. Unfortunately it is not simple to explain to someone how I know it's bad immediately. It comes from years of study.
Sure. It is possible for anyone to be fooled from time to time. No one is perfect. but the more you learn the harder it becomes for forgers to succeed.

Chris has taken the time to learn Mantle in depth. He has studied so much that now he can identify where certain forgeries originate from based upon seeing their items over and over again.

BTW, I agree with everyone so far. They are both bad.

You don't have to be a genius to know these are just terrible.

I actually think the first one is a pretty good forgery...

The 2nd one, is a run of the mil putrid forgery.
