Bristow Adams & John Sheridan Posters

The early 20th century college posters put together by Bristow Adams and John Sheridan are some of my absolute favorite things in the hobby. I'm not fortunate enough to own any, but over the years I have tried to make an unofficial image database of what exists. Many are available from the Library of Congress, but from time to time you see other examples. I'd love to see what examples are owned by people in our collecting community!

Casey, I have an example of the Bristow Adams Cornell rowing poster. It's one of his more scarce posters.

Those Bristow Adams posters are great...I recently came across a photo of him in a Stanford track team photo...Above is a link to a page with an indepth overview of his exrodinary life. I don't have any now but many years ago I had one for the Mercerburg Academy featuring a baseball player...I think I sold or traded it for something.

I just picked up these two Bristow Adams poster of Mercersburg and Princeton at a DFW antique store. Attached are photos of each and a magnification of the Princeton poster, from under his right elbow, showing the vintage of the lithography.

They are on heavy stock paper, have no gloss, and pass the black light and loupe magnification test. The particularly interesting aspect is that they have been trimmed to approximately 24 x 36 for framing at some point, down from I suspect a 25 x 40 original size. All of the other Bristow Adams college/prep school posters I have found are roughly 13 x 23, making these almost 3 times as large. Has anyone seen any Bristow Adams posters of this size before?

Any experts out there, any help is appreciated.

I haven't seen a poster that size. I am far from an expert, but the lithography does look like early halftone print. David Cycleback can certainly confirm the print process.
